George Demetriou |
Mr. Demetriou is the Defensive Tactics Supervisor for Modern Warrior® Defensive Tactics Institute and is certified as an instructor trainer in numerous police training systems including Tactical Groundfighting, and Tactical Edged Weapons Defense. He is also certified to teach the Tactical Straight Baton System, the FAST System (Firearm Alternative Survival Tactics) and several civilian courses, including the certified Self Defense Keychain course. George has over 25 years martial arts experience and has been extensively involved with police defensive tactics training for the past 20 years.
George has developed and teaches the Wolverinz Youth Martial Arts Program.
George is a veteran with a major metropolitan police department. He is also an active member of the Modern Warrior® Curriculum Development Team and a certified Rape Prevention Instructor for the American Women's Self Defense Association. He has published numerous articles on both police defensive tactics and self defense.
